Above 100M credits, Scale overage keeps the same pro-rata rate. At 200M credits a month, Scale costs $1,198.00, exactly two Scale subscriptions.
Overage is off until you turn it on. Without overage, a response that needs more credits gives HTTP 402 in the dated API. With overage enabled, SourceKeel bills each extra credit at your plan's rate. For example, 37,281 extra credits on Build cost $1.30.
When you turn on overage, you choose a maximum additional spend for the month. Responses that cost credits stop when you reach it. We alert you at 50%, 75%, 90%, and 100% of your included credits. We also alert you when overage starts and as you approach your spend limit.
Every HTTP 200 or 206 response costs one credit. This includes coverage and empty pages. Each page is a separate response. A 304 Not Modified response and every error cost zero credits.
If a cheaper plan would have covered your usage, the dashboard tells you, for example: "You have spent $207.34 this month. Ship includes 5M credits for $199/month." Changing plan is always your decision.
All API keys, projects, and environments on an account share one allowance and one spend limit. Adding keys does not add credits.
The sandbox has the full API for Amprius Technologies (AMPX). It is rate-limited and meant for building and testing. Production traffic needs a paid plan.
